App Clone Privacy Policy
Scope
Updated November 2, 2026. This policy covers App Clone for macOS, developed by Shooter. It does not describe the data practices of other apps, source apps, or website services.
Data on your device
App Clone processes selected apps and clone files on your Mac. It stores library records, names, icons, notes, spaces, settings, and folder access permissions locally. File access is granted through macOS pickers.
App Clone has no developer accounts, cloud sync, advertising, or developer-operated analytics or tracking service. It does not upload local library contents, app files, or source-app account data to the developer.
Purchases and third-party apps
Apple handles purchases and restoration through StoreKit. App Clone verifies transactions and checks Pro access on your device. The developer does not receive your payment-card information through App Clone. See Apple’s privacy policy.
Source apps and their copies may connect to services and process data under their own policies. Separate app identities do not guarantee complete account-data isolation. Icon-resource links open third-party websites in your browser, subject to those sites’ policies.
Support emails and data management
If you email support, the developer receives your email address, message, and attachments to respond, troubleshoot, and provide follow-up support. Email providers process delivery and storage. Send only what is needed and remove private information from screenshots and logs.
You manage local data on your Mac. Deleting a clone leaves the source app and its user-data directories in place. Uninstalling App Clone does not automatically remove created clones.
