BROWSER HISTORY CLEANER

Browser History Cleaner

Find history by keyword, review results grouped by website, and delete selected URLs in bulk.

Chrome extension Local processing Available in 简体中文, English, and Español

01 / Find it, review it, then decide

Keyword search

Search text in titles or URLs with case-insensitive partial matching. When you enter multiple keywords, results must match all of them.

Group by website

See which websites appear in the results. Select matching URLs by website or review and select them individually.

Time filters and pagination

Narrow your search by time range and browse large result sets in pages. Matching words are highlighted, with matching excerpts shown for long titles and URLs.

Bulk deletion and recent searches

Review the results before confirming deletion. Reuse recent searches, remove individual searches, or clear the list.

02 / From search to cleanup in four steps

  1. Open the history manager

After installation, click the extension icon in your browser toolbar.

  2. Find the history to remove

Enter keywords, choose a time range, and click Search.

  3. Review and select URLs

Select URLs individually or by website. Check that you no longer need them before continuing.

  4. Confirm deletion

Click Delete selected, review the confirmation dialog, and confirm.

03 / Your history is processed locally

Search and deletion use the browser’s history API. The extension does not upload browsing history or search keywords to the developer or a server, and does not read cookies or page contents.

Recent searches are stored locally on the extension page and can be removed individually or cleared. Keywords also appear in the manager URL’s q parameter; clearing recent searches does not remove that parameter or the browser’s own history.

History permission is used to find and delete records. Website icons come from the browser’s local favicon interface.

04 / Before you delete

Deletion applies to the entire URL

Deleting a URL removes all visits to that URL, including visits outside the search time range. The time filter limits search results, not the visits ultimately deleted.

The extension cannot undo deletion. Review your selection before confirming.
